Information architecture
A preliminary part of any new media project - once its purpose and audience are agreed - is to determine the expected scope.
From this I map out an information architecture that sets out a logical hierarchy of sections, subsections, individual page content and utilities. This is supplied as a plan or schematic, including flow chart elements for any processes. With this agreed we are ready to construct a user interface and navigation system, and will use the plan to guide the building of the project.
